Enjoy snow peas in salads, stir-fries, crepes and couscous. Be careful to never overcook them to maintain their delicious crunch.
Purchase snow peas that have a fresh, green top. The green should be bright and the seeds very small and flat. Test them for the “snap” factor. Check the length. Look for smooth, unbroken skin.
Wash snow peas prior to storage. Store in the vegetable crisper in the refrigerator.
Excellent source of dietary fibre; good source of protein, vitamin B, B2, B3 C and folic acid.
